Two-day University Day Observance includes installation of Kevin M. Guskiewicz as Chancellor
Please join us for a historic virtual event as Kevin M. Guskiewicz is installed as the 12th Chancellor of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Sunday, October 11, as part of a special two-day University Day observance. This momentous event will be aired on the University’s YouTube channel and will feature live and recorded content, including brief remarks from N.C. Governor Roy Cooper, UNC System President Peter Hans and faculty, staff and student leaders. In a keynote address, Chancellor Guskiewicz will share his vision for the University’s future.
A special feature of the virtual event is a watch party that will track locations of those signing up to attend and will be updated until October 11. You can sign up on the installation website and find a map highlighting locations of those watching the event. University Events will email those that register reminders and other content prior to the ceremony. The watch party is open to anyone -- you are encouraged to sign up!
