Digital Accessibility Awareness

The goal of this training is to build your awareness of the techniques for making digital content accessible to a wide variety of people.

This training is offered both as an instructor led course as well as online self-paced course through Carolina Talent.

Captioning

The goal of this training is to teach you the impact of captioning video, captioning resources available to you, and how to caption using YouTube’sĀ built-in features.

Web Accessibility Basics

The goal of this training is to walk you through the basics of creating accessible digital content on the web.

Digital Accessibility in Course Design

The goal of this training is to introduce faculty and instructors to concepts you can start with to begin making your course content more accessible and inclusive for all students.

This training is offered both as an instructor led course as well as online self-paced course through Carolina Talent.

Document Remediation Part 1 – Word and PowerPoint

The goal of this training is to teach you best practices for ensuring your Word documents and PowerPoint presentations are fully accessible.

Document Remediation Part 2 – PDF Accessibility

This goal of this training is to teach you the tools and processes to ensure you have a basic understanding of PDF accessibility requirements. We will be using Adobe Acrobat for this training.

NOTE: We highly recommend taking Document Remediation Part 1 – Word and PowerPoint before taking this course. Some core topics covered in Part 1 will not be repeated.

Social Media

The goal of this training is to provide information and guidance for ensuring your social media content is inclusive and reaches all audiences.

Procurement

The goal of this training is to walk you through what to look for when purchasing with accessibility in mind.

Zoom Accessibility

The goal of this training is to help teach you the best practices to ensure your meetings and events through Zoom are accessible.
