How To Apply

  1. Start by building authentic partnerships in the rural communities you serve
  2. Collaborate with communities to identify barriers to health equity and possible solutions
  3. Identify a 4-person team from these partnerships including 2 community members from Edgecombe or Robeson County and 2 UNC-Chapel Hill faculty or researchers
  4. Review the Sample Application (.pdf)
  5. Prepare for submitting your application by downloading the WCC Application (.doc) and fill in with your proposal details
  6. Make sure all 4 team members can commit to the in-person retreats
  7. Email completed application as a PDF to wholecommunityconnection@unc.edu by the deadline

Next Steps

  • You will receive an email confirmation with to confirm successful submission
  • Applications will be reviewed and finalists will schedule a Zoom interview with the selection committee
  • Selected teams will be notified in October and project funds and leadership development starts in January
